I love waking up to the sound of bird-song...it's a sound that instantly invokes gratitude, joy and happiness! The inspiration for this series comes from the song-birds as well as my lovely neighbor and friend, Carol...she adores birds, too!
● Hand-sawn silver Mountain Bluebirds are fused to a domed Argentium Silver body (also hand-cut using my jeweler's saw!). Argentium has a higher fine silver content than sterling and also contains a small amount of germanium. ● My favorite characteristics of Argentium Silver are its ability to fuse and its resistance to tarnish!!! Yes, that's right....it could be years before you need to polish these earrings!
● The silver is oxidized and then polished to accentuate the outline of these sweet little birds that are a Colorado mountain favorite (you know.....Colorado bluebird skies!)
● The french-style ear-wires are fused to the back of the earring body so that it wears high on the ear-lobe like a post-style earring. Overall length is 7/8" and very lightweight
● Arrives in a linen-covered gift box with ribbon
