Beautiful, purple, and rare, Charoite has only been found in one place on planet earth...the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and its swirling appearance is unique, as well as the chatoyant effect found in some specimens such as this one. Uniquely hand forged (not cast) by me, Brigitte Wilson, of 7 Elements Studio in Colorado. I've created a heavily oxidized, ornate bezel setting with a decorative split shank to compliment the complexity of this stone. I am inspired, in my work and life, by the 7 Elements of Shibui.
