This large Bamboo Mountain turquoise cabochon is an amazing shade of green with hints of orange and finely webbed black matrix and is bezel set in an oxidized sterling setting with a 3-split shank. Individually hand forged (no casting) by me, Brigitte Wilson, in my Colorado studio. I am inspired in my creativity and in life by the 7 Elements of Shibui.
Bamboo Mountain turquoise was mined in the Hubei Province of China (the mine closed in 1995). This is a truly lovely specimen.
