Stunning and reminiscent of thin white clouds floating across bluebird skies! The Blue Ridge Turquoise Mine is part of the same claim as the Orvil Jack Mine in northern Nevada. Whereas the Orvil Jack Turquoise is distinctly yellow-green, the Blue Ridge Turquoise is, well, very blue! Both are considered rare, as the claim is now primarily being worked for gold. This Blue Ridge cabochon is 20 carats and I've created a streamlined, wavy-edged sterling setting that measures 1.25 inches long and 1 inch wide. I made the traditional figure 8 slider on the back. The smooth black leather cord is 37" long with petite sterling tips. Modern Western Flair.
