This is a lovely, pale blue, natural turquoise cabochon from the Sand Hill Mine and is set in sterling silver with a medium-width shank. The stone measures 17mm x 22mm. Handmade in Colorado.
Sand Hill Turquoise stands out with its soft and pale earthy hues. It was mined in the Dashiqiao and Huangzhang areas of Xichuan (Sichuan). The small deposits were depleted in 2020.
